We were humbled to concept and design the first ever identity of The Remnant church–A new church plant targeting young professionals in the greater Portland area.

A calling to start a church, is not something that should be taken lightly. From a design standpoint, there is a responsibility to not overly market. Listening from the beginning becomes vital.

Purposeful Design

In Revelation, John refers to seven churches as a remnant. These churches were warned of what not to become and instead of what the world needs from the church. The seven triangles represent the seven historical churches.

The abbreviated RMNT visually ties into the fact that written Hebrew contained not vowels.

Provided alongside brand-defining graphics and colors were supporting photo and video assets to be used for jump-starting The Remnant’s online presence. The content fits seamlessly into the brand’s overall aesthetic.
